Kevin Emanuel

Kevin was admitted as a Solicitor in February 1974 after completing two years as an Article Clerk in the firm which was the predecessor of Boyd House & Partners. Kevin was one of the three founding partners of Boyd House & Partners when the firm commenced in that name on 1 May 1978. Kevin became the senior partner of the firm in July 1992.

Kevin's main area of practice throughout his career has been in all forms of litigation, particularly in personal injury and insurance litigation. He has also conducted a general practice in conveyancing, Wills and Probate, commercial leasing and business law.

In 1994 Kevin was certified by the Law Society of New South Wales as an Accredited Specialist in personal injury law. He also was appointed an Arbitrator in both the Supreme and District Courts in January 1995 and has sat as an Arbitrator in both Courts for a number of years thereafter.

Kevin is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and the Australian Life Underwriters and Claims Association.

Kevin boasts tremendous experience in the law. He has based his practice upon close and longstanding personal relationships with many of his clients.

Kevin has a great love of sport and has been active in a number of sports as a younger man. These days he limits his participation to trying to cope with the difficulties at The Australian Golf Club where he has been a member for more than 25 years.

Kevin is very proud of his two young adult sons. One is studying and living in the United Kingdom and the other is carving out a career in the golfing industry.
